If You Got It, Flaunt It! Gabrielle Union Says Family Will Just Have to Adjust When It Comes To Her Steamy Scenes On-Screen

Mama’s gotta have a life too!

The 48-year-old actress spoke about how her retired NBA hubby copes with her sex scenes on screen.

“He’ll ask before each episode: ‘Are you naked in this one?’,” Union recalls. “Sometimes I forget because we shot this stuff a year ago. And we’ll sit there with the whole family, popcorn, and he’s like…”

But, Union admits her husband is better than her. She got very jealous during his appearance in “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.”

“I was like, ‘What is this, pasodoble?’…I know I couldn’t do it. God bless, he is better than me,” said Union.

Gabrielle Union recently joined former NBA star Jalen Rose on the latest episode of his “Renaissance Man” podcast to talk all things marriage and motherhood.

Mother to a 2-year-old daughter, Kaavia Wade, and bonus mom to Wade’s three sons from his previous marriage: Zaire, 18, Zaya, 13, and Xavier, 7, Union says the boys share times they get teased at school for her sex scenes.

“The older boys were like, ‘I am getting murdered at school,’ like with the sex scenes and all that.”

Union, however, is taking advice from Queen Bey who once said “if you got it flaunt it!”

“Everyone will just adjust,” she adds.

Union also spoke about their transgender daughter Zaya, challenges with Wade’s ex-wife, and his mother’s past issues with drugs.

“We just try to lead with love and transparency and people rock with us,” said Union. “We still crew up and we just lead with that. You aren’t going to be able to tell me or him nothing about us that we haven’t already told you first.

She also adds that the family attends therapy together weekly.

“That is one of the first things he did, was start going religiously every week,” she continues. “So as a family, we’re just really big on therapy.”
