Jada Pinkett-Smith joined husband Will Smith to respond to August Alsina’s claims of a relationship between the two. The “Set It Off” actress brought herself to her “Red Table Talk” to come clean about her “entanglement” with the NOLA singer.
The actress broke the Internet and sent fans into a frenzy across social media, but the tell-all set a new Facebook Watch record. “The Red Table Talk” special titled “Jada Brings Herself To The Table” brought in more than 15 million views in the first 24 hours after its debut on Friday (July 10). Not only did she confess to her relationship between her and August Alsina, but she and husband, Will Smith, revealed the two had secretly separated at the time.
Now you know Black Twitter was ready with the memes and jokes following the conversation. After Jada referred to the situation with August as an “entanglement” it’s safe to say that everyone added this a new word to replace “situationship” or any relationship that may be complicated. Many people also came to Will’s defense after he shared what seemingly felt like a few heartbroken looks as the two, literally, left it all on the table.

August Alsina lays it all on the table in a recent interview with “The Breakfast Club’s” Angela Yee. He addresses the issues he’s faced with his health, the new album, “The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy” and the most shocking, his alleged affair with Jada Pinkett-Smith.
TMZ reports that Jada’s reps continue to deny the claims and have called them “absolutely not true.” However, the NOLA singer shared that not only were he and Jada in a relationship, despite her marriage to husband Will Smith, but Will gave him the green light.
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times and it not involving romanticism,” he alleged. “He gave me his blessing and I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life and I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it so much so to the point that I can die right now and be ok with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
August also shares that he is not a fan of drama and he truly loves the Smith family. He claims he didn’t have a choice but to open up about his truth after his health and wellness were affected.
“Contrary to what some people believe, I’m not a troublemaker. I don’t like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous…I also don’t think that it’s ever important for people to know what I do, who I sleep with, who I date.”
He says this instance is different, “there’s so many people that are side-eyeing me, looking at me questionable about it. I’ve lost money, friendships, relationships behind it and I think it’s because people don’t necessarily know the truth, but I’ve never done anything wrong. I love those people.”
